Stevens, a longtime resident of the Pacific Northwest, is the fourth generation in his family to work in precast concrete. His father, Jeff Stevens, was president of the SWCA in 1999.

“Kyle represents the next generation of construction leaders in this community. We are excited to gain from his energy, knowledge and commitment to the industry,” said Dan Goff, SWCA president.

Stevens became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2008. He has served on the SWCA’s Builders Exchange committee for the past two years and volunteers as a Young Life leader at Covington Middle School where his wife teaches science. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration, management operations from Washington State University.

Columbia Ultimate, a Vancouver-based software and technology solutions company, recently named Joshua Schreiner as compliance officer.

Schreiner will act as Columbia Ultimate’s in-house counsel and will oversee the company’s compliance in conjunction with federal and collection industry regulations. He will also manage Columbia Ultimate’s program certifications with ACA International (Association of Credit and Collections Professionals), the company said.

“We’re pleased to have Joshua on our team and look forward to his ongoing counsel that will offer our clients the highest level of data security and adherence to industry regulations,” said Columbia Ultimate President and CEO R. Fred Houston.

Schreiner received his bachelor’s degree in International Business from Linfield College, and previously practiced law as a consumer bankruptcy attorney.

TigerStop CEO Spencer Dick was recently selected to serve on the International Trade Administration’s Industry Trade Advisory Committee’s Automotive Equipment and Capital Goods (ITAC2).

The committee, a public-private partnership jointly managed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Office of United States Trade Representative (USTR), provides detailed policy and technical advice, information and recommendations regarding trade barriers, negotiation of trade agreements, and implementation of existing trade agreements to the USTR.

“Serving on this committee gives me the opportunity to be a small voice for something I hold vitally important to the future of the U.S. economy,” said Dick.

TigerStop is a Vancouver-based manufacturer of automated positioning attachments for tools such as saws and other equipment used on construction sites.

Hasson Company Realtors recently announced the addition of Briana Jolma to the firm’s Southwest Washington branch.

In her new role, Jolma will act as a buyer’s agent, the company said. Jolma is new to the real estate industry, bringing 11 years of logistics experience to her position.

“I love how family-oriented Southwest Washington is and I’m excited to help some of these families find a home they love,” Jolma said.

The Vancouver Business Journal is pleased to announce the hiring of Ralph Stevens to the position of advertising account manager serving businesses and industries in Southwest Washington.

Previously, Stevens served as managing director of Corporate Resource Alliance, a company he founded. He also spent 20 years with American Honda as its Northwest regional director, focusing on marketing, leadership and customer service.

Gunter has more than 30 years of public and private accounting experience in a variety of industries, the firm said. She has been an enrolled agent since 1998 and enjoys working with small business clients.

Quale’s background includes more than 35 years of experience in taxation, including four years working at the Internal Revenue Service where she audited individual and small business tax returns. She has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant since 1985 and is a Lifetime Member of the Oregon Society of CPAs.

Vancouver Radiologists P.C. recently announced the addition of Olivia Hipes as the company’s director of finance, and Anthony Hoangphan as director of health information and technology.

Hipes brings approximately 17 years of finance and accounting experience, including ten years within management, and five years operating her own accounting services business. She received a bachelor of science in business administration from Warner Pacific College and recently completed her MBA last year through Marylhurst University.

Hoangphan has more than ten years of IT management experience, including almost four years within the healthcare industry specifically. He received a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and qualitative analysis at Portland State University and is currently working on the completion of his master’s degree in business administration through George Fox University.
