Prior to joining the Institute, Neumeyer worked with youth education programs and nonprofits as a consultant focusing on programming, grant design and grant management. He worked as the director of outdoor science education and classes at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) for six years and served as a principal investigator on multiple National Science Foundation education grants. He has also served a Peace Corps volunteer in southern Africa.

Neumeyer has undergraduate biology degree from Lewis and Clark College and a master’s in education leadership with a focus on sustainability education from Portland State University. 

The Mount St. Helens Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people of all ages gain an understanding of the natural processes and cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest’s volcanic landscapes.

Regional real estate brokerage Coldwell Banker Bain (CB Bain) announced that it has hired Brian Sullivan to become principal managing broker of the company’s new commercial real estate office in Vancouver.

Sullivan will be responsible for establishing the CB Bain Commercial brand throughout the Southwest Washington region, as well as assisting the office’s brokers and their clients with real estate transactions. Sullivan will also manage and roll out the company’s technology and marketing resources at the local level, CB Bain said.

Sullivan began his real estate career as a broker with Coldwell Banker Commercial in Vancouver in 2002.

“We’re thrilled to have Brian on the team,” said Mike Grady, president of CB Bain. “His detailed knowledge of Southwest Washington commercial real estate and his outstanding reputation within the community give us great confidence that the Vancouver office of CB Bain Commercial will excel for its clients, its brokers and the company.”

Sullivan is a graduate of Clark College and an executive board member of the Police Activities League.
