Alex Garcia has been named branch manager for First Independent’s La Center office. Garcia joined First Independent in April 2005 as a management trainee. Prior to this, Garcia served as a personal banking officer for the Bank of America in Woodland. He has been in the banking industry since 1988.
Sharif Burdzik has been appointed branch manager of the Hazel Dell office in Vancouver. Burdzik has more than 15 years of banking experience and has served as branch manager for Washington Mutual and US Bancorp prior to joining First Independent. Burdzik earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and Mathematics from the University of Kansas.
Sarah Del Moral has been appointed branch manager of the Cascade Park office. Del Moral comes to First Independent with more than 15 years of experience in management and buying with Nordstrom, where she received multiple awards for her excellent leadership and management skills.
