Joseph D. Lane, president of Pacific Tech Construction, in Longview was named a recipient of the US Small Business Administration’s Minority Small Business Person of the Year. Lane is one of 11 regional winners. A national winner will be selected from the 11 at the annual MED Week conference. The 23rd annual MED Week conference will take place Sept. 11-14, in Washington, D.C., at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. MED Week is an event hosted by the Minority Business Development Agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
