Empower Up is a Vancouver-based reuse and recycling nonprofit that accepts donated computers and electronics from the public and businesses.

In addition to Gray’s appointment, Steve Rusk, employed with the Salvation Army, was elected vice president; Jim Lucey, employed with Linear Technologies, was elected treasurer; and Lisa Schmidt of Marketing Matters Inc. was elected to serve as secretary for 2013. Michael Holroyd serves as executive director.

Bill CollinsBILL COLLINS

William “Bill” Collins, director of environmental, health, safety & security at Tidewater, has joined Columbia Springs’ Board of Directors.

As a member of the board, Collins will work alongside 15 other board members helping Vancouver-based Columbia Springs meet its mission to provide educational experiences that foster a greater awareness of the natural world, inspiring stewardship.

Collins is a licensed geologist/hydrogeologist in Washington, Oregon, and Florida.

AndrewEnriquezANDREW ENRIQUEZ

Andrew Enriquez has joined WRK Engineers as a project engineer.

Enriquez has more than seven years of experience in structural analysis and design, with focus on project management and coordination for multi discipline projects. At WRK, he will concentrate on commercial and seismic strengthening projects, the firm said.

Enriquez holds a bachelor of arts degree in physics from Grinnell College and a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Oregon State University.

Liliya MulyarLILIYA MULYAR

Vancouver-based Caley & Associates recently announced that Liliya Mulyar has passed the Uniform CPA examination and is now a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Washington.

As a staff accountant with Caley & Associates, Mulyar is responsible for all phases of accounting, tax and assurance services for individual and business clients.

LeAnn GilmoreLEANN GILMORE

Sterling Bank recently hired LeAnn Gilmore as a private banker at its Vancouver Private Banking office, located at 1220 Main St.

Prior to coming to Sterling, Gilmore was a private banker with Wells Fargo Bank in Vancouver.

Gilmore is a graduate of the University of North Dakota, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She currently serves as a board member for the Vancouver Symphony.

PORT OF WOODLAND STAFF

Earlier this month, the Woodland Chamber of Commerce recognized a pair of Port of Woodland staff members at its annual Installation Banquet.

Port Auditor Carol Moore was recognized as one of two Employees of the Year by the chamber, and Executive Director Nelson Holmberg was installed as the organization’s board president.

The chamber said it honored Moore for her diligence and level of professionalism. Holmberg was elected to the presidency by the membership at the chamber’s annual meeting in November, and took office effective January 1.
