The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is the only open admission animal sheltering facility in southwest Washington, sheltering more than 10,000 homeless and abused animals every year.

“Every day at [HSSW] we help people find their companion animals and help our animals to find their forever homes,” said Graham. “We have a great team of dedicated professionals and volunteers, a few challenges and a lot of opportunities to make a difference in so many lives. It’s an amazing place to work! ”

Miller Nash LLP partner LeAnne Bremer has been appointed secretary of the Humane Society for Southwest Washington Board of Directors.

As secretary, Bremer is a member of the organization’s executive committee and is responsible for implementing the bylaws.

“LeAnne is incredibly active within the Vancouver community, and this appointment reflects her hard work and dedication to giving back,” said Kieran Curley, managing partner of Miller Nash. “Volunteerism is an important focus for Miller Nash as a firm, and we support each of our attorneys as they become more involved with great organizations like the Humane Society for Southwest Washington.”

Bremer’s practice focuses on land use law, real estate, and government affairs. Additionally, she has extensive experience in growth legislation and the implications of development and environmental issues for property owners. Bremer is a past member of the firm’s executive committee and is currently partner in charge of the Vancouver office.

Skamania Lodge has announced the hiring of Darrin Osborn as its new national sales manager.

Osborn comes to Skamania Lodge with 10 years of experience at Marriott International hotel properties in St. Louis, Kansas City, Mo., Fort Collins, Colo., and Portland, where he rose through the ranks from assistant banquet manager to leading catering sales as a senior catering sales executive.

“We are very excited to have Darrin join our team at such an exciting time for the Lodge,” said Scott Spann, general manager of Skamania Lodge. “Darrin has the perfect mix of personality and experience to fit with our team and start making an immediate impact.”

In his new role, Osborn will be responsible for generating corporate meetings and events to be held at Skamania Lodge. He will be working with many regional businesses, with special emphasis on the healthcare, pharmaceutical and manufacturing markets.

Pacific Continental Bank recently announced the promotion of Phoebe Krueger to assistant vice president, relationship banking officer. Krueger will continue working from Pacific Continental’s office in Vancouver.

Krueger currently serves as board secretary for the Nonprofit Network of Southwest Washington and board treasurer for Dress for Success Oregon, as well as on committees for Leadership Clark County and YWCA Clark County. She was a graduate of Leadership Clark County in 2011 and a member of the Vancouver Business Journal’s Accomplished and Under 40 class of 2011.

The bank also announced the promotion of Brandon Posey to assistant vice president, commercial banking officer. Posey will also continue working from Pacific Continental’s office in Vancouver.

Morgan Stanley has announced the appointment of Benjamin Lanphar as branch manager of the firm’s Wealth Management office in Vancouver (1701 SE Columbia River Drive, Suite 120).

In his new role, Lanphar will be responsible for supervising 12 financial advisors and assisting them in delivering a comprehensive range of wealth management services to local clients.

Lanphar, a Vancouver resident, has been with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management since 2007.
