Trek Global Corporation, a Vancouver-based technology firm that aims to help midsize distribution companies transform and grow their business with cloud enterprise technology, has added two new employees to its Park Plaza headquarters: Austin Black as creator of opportunities, senior account manager, and Marie Edwards, project manager.

As a senior account manager, Black will work closely with local and international businesses to identify strategies and solutions that improve efficiency, facilitate growth and eliminate waste. He graduated from WSU Vancouver with a major in management information systems.

Edwards is a logistics and supply chain expert who spent 13 years in the railroad industry. She made the leap from rail freight to technology because she desired a fast-paced, evolving career path.

“Technology, as a culture, understands that collaboration amplifies the collective intelligence of a group,” she said. “I couldn’t resist that kind of work environment.”

PBS Engineering and Environmental Inc. has announced four new recent hires.

Allen Westersund has joined the firm as a project engineer. He is a graduate of California State University, Fresno and is a registered professional civil engineer in Oregon, Washington and California. Allen specializes in site development and infrastructure projects for public and commercial clients throughout Oregon and Washington. He will be based out of the firm’s Vancouver office.

Jenai Fitzpatrick recently joined PBS as a civil engineering designer, also working out of the firm’s Vancouver office. Fitzpatrick will provide support for planning, design, drafting, inspection and project management services for civil infrastructure and site development projects. She received her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University with specialization in GIS technology.

Shasta Billings has joined PBS as a staff engineer supporting the environmental engineering practice with water, wastewater and environmental compliance projects throughout the Oregon and Washington geography. Billings specializes in environmental process technology, water quality, groundwater remediation and wastewater treatment planning for public and private clients.

Lastly, the firm named Greg Baker as its director of training. In his new role, Baker will apply his knowledge to continuing PBS’ training programs – working with school districts, universities, corporations and government agencies to bring customized, accredited classes to their employees. He has been developing and conducting training programs for construction and environmental industry professionals across the Northwest for more than 30 years.

RIVERVIEW PROMOTIONS

Riverview Community Bank recently announced the promotions of six employee-owners, as voted by its Board of Directors:

MacArthur Branch Manager Collette Tynan, with 30 years experience in the banking industry, has been promoted to vice president.

Longview Branch Manager Connie Hladek, a Riverview employee for 10 years, has been named vice president.

With 18 years banking experience, Goldendale Branch Manager Cynthia Furlong has been elevated to vice president.

15-year Riverview employee, Aumsville Branch Manager Julie Wisser has been named vice president.

Tech Center Branch Manager Jamie Birkland, a 10-year banking professional, has been promoted to vice president.

Credit Analyst Melissa Pearce, a 5-year Riverview employee, has been elevated to assistant vice president.

“Collette, Connie, Cynthia, Julie, Jamie, and Melissa all have a track record of strong leadership, hard work and dedication,” said Riverview Chairman & CEO Patrick Sheaffer. “Each of them play an integral role in the success of our company and our community, and we are pleased to recognize their efforts with these well-deserved promotions. John Rose has been named assistant principal managing broker of Coldwell Banker Seal Vancouver West and East. In his new role, Rose will be responsible for helping principal managing brokers Pam Saunders (Vancouver West) and David Knode (Vancouver East) in day-to-day operation of the two Clark County branches.

A longtime broker in the Coldwell Banker Seal Vancouver office, Rose began his real estate career in 2001 as a certified appraiser in Washington and Oregon before becoming a licensed broker in 2010. A military veteran (U.S. Air Force) and past high school baseball coach, Rose actively volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.

Coldwell Banker Seal has also hired Kimberly Soo in its Vancouver East office. Soo joins the office following 20 years as a software engineer. She has a bachelor of science degree in computer science, and possesses analytical skills to assess the market value of properties.

In addition, Larry Bauman has joined Coldwell Banker Seal Vancouver West. Bauman is a member of the Clark County Association of Realtors, Washington Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the RMLS, the most popular multiple listing service in Clark County.

Finally, Rose Crowell has joined the team at Coldwell Banker Bain Longview. A Battle Ground native, Crowell has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Washington University. She recently relocated back to the area and in her new position will serve the areas of Lewis, Cowlitz and Clark counties.
