ALDEN ROBERTS
Alden Roberts, chief medical officer of the PeaceHealth Columbia Network and vice president of quality at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, has been named to the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission.
The 21-member commission is charged with promoting patient safety and enhancing the integrity of the medical profession in Washington state. It is focused on issues like rule-making, licensure legislation and increasing educational outreach to the medical profession and public.
“We congratulate Dr. Roberts on this accomplishment and recognition by his peers and Washington State Governor Jay Inslee,” said Joanne Olsen, chief administrative officer for PeaceHealth Southwest and chief nursing officer for the PeaceHealth Columbia Network. “We’re proud to have such an esteemed member of the medical profession within PeaceHealth.”
Roberts’ term on the commission began on March 2, 2015, and runs through June 30, 2018.
He currently serves on the Emergency Medical Services Administrative Board and Public Health Advisory Council in Vancouver.
The Southwest Washington Contractor’s Association (SWCA) has named Ashlyn Salzman as its the new administrative coordinator.
In her new role, Salzman will assist in advancing the SWCA’s communication strategy to engage new and existing members with the association, provide administrative support to the executive director, and work with partners to coordinate volunteers for Dozer Day 2015.
Salzman has served in student government at WSU Vancouver for nearly two years. In that time, she has organized high-profile events and worked in Olympia as the student lobbyist for the university. She has focused on events that bring together stakeholders in the community, such as “Floats for Votes” and “Are You Smarter than a Secretary of State?” featuring Clark County legislators and the secretaries of state from Washington and Oregon.

Williams concentrates her practice in general business and real estate law. Her clients range from individuals and small businesses to large publicly held companies.
