The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) has gained two new “Red Coat” Ambassadors: Scott Flury and Beth Anderson.
Flury is the owner of Latte Da Coffee House and Wine Bar, which was established in 2011. It is located at 205 E 39th St. in Vancouver.

The chamber also announced that it has added Jeremy Riley as a part-time Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) counselor, available to assist businesses who are seeking help in local, state and federal government contracting.
Riley joins the Washington PTAC in the Great Vancouver Chamber of Commerce office as a government contracts specialist with more than 10 years of federal government contracting knowledge from the industry perspective.
His primary areas of expertise include FAR/DFARS, teaming agreements, technical data rights/IP, and business system implementation.
Most recently, Riley led the M&A and strategic partnership initiatives for the Raytheon Missile Systems’ business unit. He graduated with honors from Cornell University (B.S. in applied economics and management) and the University of Arizona (MBA).
Jordan Ramis PC shareholder Jamie Howsley has joined the City of Vancouver’s 20-member Strategic Oversight Committee, which will assist in monitoring the execution of the city’s 2016-2021 strategic plan.
The plan includes developing better transportation systems and housing choices, ensuring safer infrastructure, and creating a more vibrant arts and cultural community.
Led by the mayor pro-tem, each member of the committee is accountable for one of the strategic plan’s objectives. Howsley, a land use attorney with 15 years of development experience, will focus on housing issues.
“Jamie’s breadth of experience has given him the knowledge and understanding to serve effectively on the Vancouver City Council’s Strategic Plan Oversight Committee,” said Jordan Ramis Managing Shareholder Chris Reive. “We are confident Jamie will serve the committee well and continue to be a valuable asset to the community and development industry.”
The committee will have its first meeting in November 2016, where they will establish specific goals for 2017.
The Port of Portland has added Dr. Steven Mark Sachs to its regional PDX Community Advisory Committee.
