Frisch will oversee the BIA’s marketing and communication efforts including its monthly newsletter, website, membership e-blasts & publications. Additionally, she will prepare press releases and maintain outreach with local contacts. She will also serve as the staff contact for the Green Building Council, Building Futures Foundation Scholarship Committee and Remodelers Community Outreach Committee.
Prior to joining the BIA, Frisch was the co-founder and co-producer of the Better Living Show, from 2007-2013. She has also worked locally as the marketing manager for the Clark County Events Center and director of marketing for the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland.

Renee Bartocci has joined Washington State University Vancouver as executive assistant to the chancellor.
In her new role, Bartocci will serve as advisor to Chancellor Emile “Mel” Netzhammer on a variety of matters, and will represent the Chancellor’s Office at events, activities and meetings. Additionally, she will oversee the office’s administrative activities, including the coordination of communication between faculty, staff, students and outside groups.
Bartocci is a marketing and project management professional. She spent much of her career at Hewlett-Packard.

Members of the Washington Economic Development Association (WEDA) have voted to elect CREDC President Mike Bomar to the organization’s Board of Directors to serve a three-year term. Additionally, city of Vancouver Economic Development Manager Teresa Brum has been re-elected to the board, serving as secretary of the WEDA Executive Committee.
WEDA is a state-wide, nonprofit association of nearly 140 private businesses, economic development councils, ports, governments and other partners committed to enhancing the state’s climate for economic development.
