Chris McCabe is the new governmental affairs director of environmental policy, specializing in land use and water rights, at the Association of Washington Business. McCabe brings 15 years of experience in governmental affairs and more than six years of experience as a land use attorney.
Prior to joining AWB, McCabe practiced as a land use attorney in Olympia. He graduated from Michigan State University Law School in 1999, and received his BA in political science from Washington State University. Prior to attending law school, McCabe worked in Washington D.C. as a legislative assistant to former Alaska Senator Frank Murkowski until the mid-1990s when he worked for former Washington State Rep. Tim Hickel.
