Katy A. Brooks has been hired as the Port of Vancouver’s community relations manager. Prior to joining the Port of Vancouver, Brooks was a senior public involvement manager with the JD White Co. Brooks also has more than 10 years of experience as a public affairs senior manager and community affairs specialist with the Port of Portland. She has also been employed by the Oregon Department of Transportation.
Brooks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Southern Oregon State University and has completed post-graduate studies in communication at Portland State University. She also participates in the Washington Public Ports Association and International Association of Public Participation.
