The Southwest Washington Convention & Visitors Bureau opened its new walk-in Visitor Information Center last month in downtown Vancouver on Main Street, between Seventh and Eighth streets.
Bureau President and CEO Kim Bennett said the decision to move the center to the downtown area from the Vancouver National Historic Reserve was, in part, to help foster revitalization efforts downtown.
The Visitor Information Center offers guides, maps and brochures for Clark County as well as travel guides for destinations throughout Washington and Oregon, in addition to Washington souvenirs. The center is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
