The Board of Clark County Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill unexpired terms for three vacancies on the Public Health Advisory Council.
The council would like to fill the vacancies with a consumer of public health services; a physician practicing in Clark County; and a nurse practicing in Clark County.
The council helps to identify community health needs, set priorities, and formulate recommendations to the Clark County Board of Health. Access to care, health inequalities, obesity and a sustainable food system are among the council’s leading concerns.
