The city initiated an expedited recruitment process on January 3 and the initial application deadline was January 21. However, after receiving 20 applications, the city opted to extend the application period to give more time for other potential candidates to apply.
“We wanted to take a little more time to get the word out and to give potential candidates the opportunity to apply,” said Ridgefield Mayor Ron Onslow. “Ridgefield has a strong sense of community and tremendous potential. We look forward to finding the right person to help us achieve our vision of a city that supports businesses and delivers a high quality of life for our residents.”
