City seeks Vancouver Housing Authority Board applicants

The city of Vancouver is seeking applicants to fill one vacancy on the Vancouver Housing Authority (VHA) Board of Commissioners.

The six-member volunteer board is appointed by the mayor to establish policy for the operation of various low-income rental assistance housing programs and low-income homeownership programs offered throughout the City and Clark County. Commissioners serve five-year terms.

Individuals with personal business conflicts of interest may not be eligible to serve. Conflicts of interest could include: landlords with rental assistance contracts, vendors and leaders or developers doing business with the VHA.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12.
