The center will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Hours will be 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesday and Thursday.
“We have taken a close look at when customers want to do business with us,” said Community Development Director Marty Snell. “Our data shows it really helps many of them to come in at certain times, including Friday afternoons until about three o’clock.”
Snell said the permit center will continue to track the number and timing of permit applications to continuously refine operations to best serve customers.
In addition, he noted that service is available by appointment when the permit center is not open for general business.
“We are doing everything we can to help people keep their projects on time and on budget without long wait times in the Permit Center,” he said.
