The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants for three positions on the Public Facilities District board of directors. Terms begin Jan. 1, 2015 and end Dec. 31, 2018.
The district board’s duties relate to administration of the Public Facilities District (PFD) created by the commissioners in 2002. The district participates in development of regional centers, including the convention center in Vancouver and exhibition hall at the Clark County Fairgrounds.
The commissioners are seeking applicants with experience in: tourism; marketing, events and promotion; hotels and convention centers; facility operations and finance; economic development; and, general knowledge about Clark County.
