The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill a volunteer three-year position on the Solid Waste Advisory Commission.
The position represents the Southwest area of the county. Applicants must live south of 179th Street and west of SR-503.
The group is a volunteer advisory panel to the Board of County Commissioners. Members make recommendations on solid waste, landfills, transfer stations, recycling, waste reduction programs and other related issues.
Those who wish to be considered for the position must send a letter of interest and resume by Wednesday, December 10, to Jennifer Clark, Commissioners’ Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver 98666. Applications can be sent by email to jennifer.clark@clark.wa.gov.
