CREDC to host Affordable Care Act seminar July 17

The seminar, supported by the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) and the Vancouver Business Journal, is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17 at the Heathman Lodge (7801 NE Greenwood Drive in Vancouver). It will include updates on the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the Washington State Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) Exchange, “Pay or Play” employer response strategies and advice on implementation and compliance.

The event, which runs from noon to 4 p.m., will kick off with networking, lunch and a keynote address from DJ Wilson. Wilson leads the State of Reform (www.stateofreform.com), an initiative to educate and inform stakeholders on health care reform issues in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. The program wraps with a health care provider panel discussion.

The event is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, and PeaceHealth SW Medical Center. Cost of attendance is $35 per person, or $325 for a table of 10.
