The Washington State Department of Revenue will host a free workshop for new and small business owners in Vancouver on Feb. 18, 2015.
Participants will learn about state excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. Attendees receive a workbook and reference guide to the department’s rules and regulations.
The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at 8008 NE Fourth Plain Blvd., Ste. 340, in Vancouver.
