The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) has added JobFIT, a human resources screening tool for businesses looking to hire new employees.
JobFIT is a web-based assessment test that looks at a job candidates’ occupational interests, behavioral traits and thinking styles to insure the best corporate culture fit. It is licensed software from Profiles International.
“When an applicant fills out a job application and submits his/her resume, they are telling you they can do the job. The JobFIT assessment tests will tell you who will do the job, who will stay and who will be the best match,” said Darcy Altizer, GVCC jobFIT program manager and VP of membership services, in a press release.
Funded by the Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council, JobFit is available to all businesses in Clark, Cowlitz and Wahkiakum counties.
