The purpose of the session is for the board to choose a population forecast from 2016-2035, as required by the Washington State Office of Financial Management. The board will also consider a proposed public participation plan.
The most recent 2035 population projections for Clark County are between 460,000 and 681,000 residents.
The work session will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 18 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., inside the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin Street, 6th Floor Board Hearing Room, in Vancouver.
