1220 Main closes
Downtown Vancouver restaurant, bar and live music venue 1220 Main is no more. The establishment, open at Main Street and E. 12th Street since 2006, declared bankruptcy and let go their entire staff effective 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, according to co-owner Dawson Green.
New area Verizon store
Verizon opened its newest "Evolution" communications store in Jantzen Beach, Ore. on Saturday, Aug. 8. Located at 12229 N. Center Ave., the new store integrates a number of innovative systems and operational enhancements to streamline the sales process and increase customer satisfaction.
Vancouver location opens
Pacific NorthWest Computers recently opened a new location on N.E. 37th Street in Vancouver. The company, owned by Jon Pienkowski, specializes in on-site residential and business computer diagnosis, service, repair and recovery, as well as custom computer systems.
