The Vancouver Business Journal is pleased to announce that the 2017 Top Projects Reception & Awards Presentation will be held at the new Columbia Precast Products facility, located at 1765 Howard Way in Woodland.
Columbia Precast Products was formed in 2013 to supply precast concrete infrastructure products to contractors, public agencies and municipalities across Western Washington and Western Oregon.
The manufacturer’s new $21 million, 51,000-square-foot facility was developed by RSV Building Solutions and is situated on a 23-acre site. It is the first precast concrete facility in the United States to have received SMaRT (Sustainable Materials Rating Technology) certification through the Institute for Market Transformation to Sustainability.
The new facility allows Columbia Precast to significantly expand its product production and, as a result, increase the size of its workforce.
“We are excited to be holding our annual Top Projects event at Columbia Precast Products in Woodland,” said Steve McDonagh, associate publisher of the Vancouver Business Journal. “This is the first time we’ve held Top Projects in Cowlitz County, and we think it is indicative of the tremendous growth occurring in that part of the region.”
Now in its 13th year, Top Projects recognizes construction projects in three areas: commercial development, residential development and public works.
This year, Top Projects will be held on Wednesday, July 26 from 4 to 7 p.m.
