Paulson’s appointment was approved by the CREDC Board of Directors at their regularly scheduled Board meeting last week. Paulson is expected to serve in the interim role for two to two-and-a-half months while a search committee completes its work in selecting Nisenfeld’s successor.
“I believe my experience leading the port and my understanding of the mission of the CREDC will allow for a smooth transition from Lisa’s departure to the arrival of the new President,” said Paulson in a press release.
Currently, Paulson sits on the board of a number of organizations and is the Chair of United Way of the Columbia-Willamette Board of Directors.
