Current job: Solo practitioner at Law Office of Denise J. Lukins, PLLC. My practice consists mainly of real estate, business and animal law.
Proudest professional moment: Taking the leap to start my own law office. I envisioned a paperless office that used technology efficiently and effectively to provide better service and to provide results for my clients. While I am always seeking to improve and stay up-to-date, I think I have achieved that goal. I am proud of my work every day.
First job: I had a newspaper delivery route in Billings, Montana for three years, starting when I was in 7th grade. I was the first “papergirl” in Billings, which is kind of funny since I am now “paperless.” I’ll never forget delivering papers at 5:30 in the morning when it was 40 degrees below!
Fun fact: I win raffle prizes more often than is statistically possible. In the last few years, I have won a trip to Spain, diamond earrings, an iPad, an iPod and various other prizes.
Favorite spot on a Saturday night: Where ever my sweet husband
Ben Meyer is.
Favorite movie: The first “Star Wars.” I was working in Glacier Park the summer of 1977. A friend and I hitchhiked to Kalispell to see it. It was worth the trouble.
