Proudest professional moment: When a former volunteer who started with me when she was in high school texted me recently to let me know that she was organizing her own citizen Lobby Day in Olympia thanks to the skills and experience she gained while volunteering with me over the years.
First job: Dairy Queen in Woodland, WA. I worked in the kitchen and all I wanted to do was make the ice cream sundaes. You had to be promoted for that job!
Fun fact: I am an avid sports fan, can talk game plan and strategy with the best of them – and I listen to sports talk radio everyday! Go Seahawks and Blazers!
Favorite spot on a Saturday night: At home with my husband and my dog, or with family.
Favorite movie: I’m not a real big movie fan. I have a hard time sitting still that long!
Music of choice: Popular/contemporary; but I really enjoy all kinds, even Broadway!
Favorite place to eat: Thai Orchid
