Current job: Assistant executive director of the Southwest Washington Contractors Association. I have been with this awesome not-for-profit organization for 19 years!
First job: As a young girl I would spend my summers working with my dad at the foundry my parents owned – Columbia Core Products. It was located at the Vancouver Shipyards. I learned a lot from my dad in the business world.
Favorite spot on a Saturday night: Home with my husband (he’s my security blanket). We have been married for 17 years! You might know who he is… He delivers the mail to most of downtown Vancouver. You know, the mailman that wears his short’s all year long!
Favorite movie: What female doesn’t love the movie “The Notebook” – and Ryan Gosling. My other favorite movie is “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
Music of choice: Rock & Roll Baby! I love the Big Hair bands from the 80’s. I’m also down for a good love ballad by Lionel Richie.
Favorite place to eat: Jorge’s Tequila Factory! Nothing like an ice cold Corona.
