Current job: Senior catering manager at the Hilton Vancouver.
Proudest professional moment: I just love what I get to do every day – collaborating with amazing people mainly in our nonprofit community, helping plan events that ultimately benefit our community and make it a better place to live.
First job: Believe it or not, I was First Mate on my Dad’s 32-foot fishing/crabbing boat. He paid me $50 bucks a day to drive the boat. I ended up resigning because I wasn’t allowed to wear high heels on the boat!

Favorite spot on a Saturday night: I met my husband online and we had the very best first date followed by what we call “bad boat date.” Our accounts of that date are different (mine is accurate). After that we didn’t talk for about a month, but then decided to have another amazing first date, which we did. So normally on a Saturday night you will find me on an amazing first date with my handsome husband.
Favorite movie: “Chef,” which is in my opinion, the feel good movie of 2014. I laugh, cry and it makes me so happy. If you haven’t seen it you are missing out.
Music of choice: I love everything. Citizen Cope & Joss Stone are some of my favorites; blues is usually playing in the background at our house most nights.
Favorite place to eat: Blossoming Lotus, which is a vegan restaurant in Portland. Round these parts we love Tommy O’s and Thai Orchid.
