  1. Having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University she worked as a journalist/intern first at the Bend Bulletin in Bend, OR.
  2. Sees the death of Journalism as gravely over stated; a blend of traditional journalism focused on government, investigative stories and breaking news and lifestyle content created by journalist within corporations may just be the future.
  3. A successful campaign for Charles Schwab taught Betsy that each project should have a unique fee structure. A commission for increased Schwab business would have been far more lucrative.
  4. Our company or personal BRAND isn’t what we think it is, rather it is what our customers perceive it to be
  5. Every business has a story to tell. It matters how we tell that story. We need to quit “shouting over the river.”
  6. Use your BRAND to create expectations, then Always live up to those expectations.
  7. AHA! hired over 20 employees in the last year and will add nearly a dozen more in the next few months.
