Evergreen’s accomplishments will be recognized in Washington, D.C. on April 29, 2014.
The Sustained Excellence Awards are given to a variety of organizations to recognize their contributions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through superior energy efficiency. Award recipients have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by setting and achieving aggressive goals, and employing innovative energy efficiency approaches.
“Evergreen is honored to receive this award,” said Dave Cone, Evergreen’s district resource conservation manager, in a press release. “We are committed to our partnership with ENERGY STAR, and dedicated to increasing energy efficiency in our schools, which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect the environment.”
